Event with a keynote speech by Tanya Cox (Director of CONCORD) followed by a Q&A session and a networking lunch.
The political landscape is shifting beneath our feet: far-right parties have gained ground both in member states and in the EU Parliament. War continues in Ukraine and the Middle East. The US elections are on a knife’s edge. In the midst of these developments, a new EU Commission is about to take office. What does this mean for the future of development policy? How might the new EU Commission tackle the challenges in Europe? How will it affect partnerships with the Global South?
This event, jointly organized by AG Globale Verantwortung and ÖFSE, will discuss recent political developments at the European level and their impact on civil society and North-South relations. Tanya Cox, Director of CONCORD, will deliver a keynote speech, followed by a Q&A session and a networking lunch. The event is free of charge and open to all.
