The Sphere Standards are a vital reference resource for national and international actors in the field of humanitarian aid. The Sphere Handbook is a globally recognised resource for the planning, implementation and evaluation of humanitarian aid. It encompasses the Humanitarian Charter, Protection Principles, Core Humanitarian Standard, and Minimum Humanitarian Standards for WASH, Food Security, Shelter and Health. The latest training package for the Sphere Standards was published in 2022.

Upon completion of the training, participants will
– be familiar with the Sphere Handbook as a resource for project implementation, in particular the Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS) and the rights-based approach
– know how to practically implement the Sphere standards and principles in various crisis scenarios / their own projects


Trainer

Diana Antir is a dedicated professional with extensive experience as a trainer in the humanitarian and development field. She is a Sphere trainer and has delivered training on the Sphere Minimum Standards and Core Humanitarian Standard to participants from the humanitarian and development sectors, both public and private.
Diana works for Caritas Moldova, the Sphere focal point in the Republic of Moldova.

The training is for member organisations of Global Responsibility and free of charge. Kindly note that cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance of the event. Otherwise we will charge a fee of EUR 100,-
