Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Entwicklung und Humanitäre Hilfe
10.-11. Juli 2014 Seminar- und Tageszentrum des Wiener Hilfswerks Schottenfeldgasse 29 1070 Wien
The question of how and if the private sector can and should contribute to socially, environmentally and economically sustainable development is increasingly important within the global development debate. In this learning event we tried to tackle the complexity and variety of the topic and introduced the debate to the participants. We looked especially at the definitions and forms of private sector development and private sector engagement as well as the impact of the private sector on development and different options and strategies for NGOs. Examples of cooperations between NGOs and private corporations were presented and discussed. For a more detailed information please find below the various presentations.
